Waterford Dental Health And Esthetic Center employs leading edge technology in dental treatment. In many cases we have eliminated the needle and drill. We use a small laser, the DIAGNOdent, to detect cavities at a very early state. We use the new state-of-the-air abrasion technique to remove these cavities. Air abrasion literally "blows" decay away with a stream of air and mild abrasive. Once the decay is removed, we place a virtually invisible filling to restore the tooth to its original strength and beauty.
Intraoral cameras are used in all of our treatment rooms. By taking high resolution pictures in the mouth, we are able to diagnose problems early and educate our patients more fully. Our x-ray machines are continually being updated to achieve the best images with the least amount of exposure. We encourage you to ask more questions about air abrasion and any other advances in dentistry.
